In November 2011, I went to Luik (Liège) to interview the Dardenne brothers for the Guardian. While I was there, I took a detour through nearby Seraing, where they were born and raised, and where most of their films are set. Since I didn’t have a camera with me, I shot these pictures on a Sony Ericsson J108i, hence the blur. Though I quite like the effect.
