In November 2011, I went to Luik (Liège) to interview the Dardenne brothers for the Guardian. The brothers were lovely, but the town looked pretty grim – apart from the Liège-Guillemins railway station. I didn’t have a camera, so these pictures were taken with my Sony Ericsson J108i, hence the blur. I feel I owe it to Luik to go back there with a proper camera, on a sunnier day.
